MVP development

Athryx Tech builds MVPs for founders and innovation teams who need a first version that real users can run, not a slide deck or a disposable prototype. We scope web and mobile MVPs for companies in Romania and for international teams that want a clear path from idea to production habits.

A useful MVP is intentionally small. It proves the riskiest assumptions, collects feedback, and sits on an architecture you can extend. We push back when a backlog tries to become version 3 before version 1 exists.

Our approach comes from shipping operational software: Cantacuzino Castle, Snap-on, HCLTech, and MAM Bricolaj all required clarity about what mattered on day one. MVP work uses the same discipline at a smaller scale.

You leave with something hosted, measurable, and owned by you, plus a roadmap for what to build next based on evidence.

  • Hosting, environments, and launch checklist
  • Analytics and feedback capture
  • Technical roadmap for the next iterations
  • Optional continuity into full product development

Technologies & stack

  • TypeScript, React, Next.js
  • Native or cross-platform mobile when needed
  • PostgreSQL / Supabase backends
  • Simple CI/CD and cloud hosting
  • Instrumentation for learning after launch

How we work

  1. 01Write down the hypothesis and non-goals
  2. 02Design the smallest path to real user action
  3. 03Build and launch a monitored first release
  4. 04Review usage and decide what to build next

Selected reference

Delivery discipline drawn from production projects including Cantacuzino Castle (digital ticketing and operations), Snap-on (enterprise logistics), HCLTech (e-learning platform), and MAM Bricolaj (loyalty app). MVP engagements apply the same 'ship something real' standard at a focused scope.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an MVP take?

It depends on scope. We define a timeboxed first release with explicit features in and out so the calendar stays honest.

Will we have to rewrite everything afterwards?

We avoid disposable demos. The MVP should be extendable. Some modules may be replaced later; the core should not be throwaway by design.

Do you help decide what to cut?

Yes. Prioritisation is part of the engagement. If everything is 'must have', it is not an MVP.

Can an MVP include mobile?

Yes, when mobile is central to the hypothesis. Sometimes a web MVP is enough to learn first. We recommend based on the user journey.
